Sharukh Khan's Ra One is facing copyright issues as Yash Patnaik, producer and script writer has filed petition against the story of Ra One. Patnaik claims that the concept of Ra One and the costumes used for Ra One character in movie is much similar to the concept he registered with Film Writers Association.
The High Court of Bombay has directed the producers of Ra One (Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros Entertainment ) to deposit Rs. 1 crore in the court before releasing the movie on Diwali. The court also added that failure in depositing the money can even result in an injunction against the release of movie.
