After a break Malayalam film industry is getting good response from the viewers.A lot of good movies released this year and some of them were under the category new generation movies. Now this Christmas season the fans of super stars are awaiting for the new releases, Karmayodha, Bavoottiyude Namathil, Da Thadiya and I Love Me. Among them Da Thadiya and I Love Me doesn't have any super star appearance. Lets have a look at the details of these

Ranjith and Mammotty team with Bavuttiyude Namathil
2012
was not a good season for Mammootty as lot of his movies released this
year was a flop. This is his last film going to be released this year
and this time he is with Renjith who has given good characters like
Pranchiyettan to him. Bavuttiyude Namathil is written and produced by
Ranjith and is directed by G S Vijayan.The story of this movie will be
portraying the culture and life of people in Malabar area. Mammootty
will be playing the role of Baputty who works as a car driver. Other
characters in the movie are played by Kavya Madhavan, Shankar
Ramakrishnan, Sudheesh, Vineeth and Harishree Ashokan. Bavuttiyude
Namathil will be releasing on December 21st.
Mohanlal as Mad Maddy in Karmayodha
Karmayodha is probably the first movie of Mohanlal with Major Ravi in which he is not playing the role of an army officer. All the other movie they worked together (Keerthi Chakra,Kurukshetra and Kandahar) where telling the story of military life. Now they are again in an action movie where Mohanlal is in the lead role as Madhava Menon known as Maddy. The story of this movie is related of child abduction and human trafficking and Maddy is an encounter specialist who fights against the illegal mafia. Biju Menon, Mukesh, Rajeev Pillai, Aishwarya Devan, Murali Sharma are also in the main roles with Mohanlal. Karma. Movie is directed by Major Ravi and produced by Haneef Mohammed. Karmayodha will be releasing on December 21st 2012.
Aashiq Abu's Da Thadiya
After creating new generation trend in the malayalam film industry with his films like Salt and Pepper and 24 Female Kottayam , Aashiq Abu is back with a new subject in Da Thadiya. As the name suggests Da Thadiya is a movie about the life styles of fat and obese people.Like his previous movies, this one also doesn't have any super star appearance. Shekhar Menon and Sreenath Bhasi are in the lead roles of Da Thadiya along with Nivin Pauly, Ann Augustin and Arundathi nag. The movie is produced by Anto Joseph in association with OPM cinema. The releasing date of Da Thadiya is on December 21st.
B Unnikrishan's I Love Me with Asif Ali
After the success of GrandMaster a thriller with Mohanlal, B Unnikrishnan is with the youngsters this time. The plot of I Love Me is about the influence of friendship and love among the youth. Asif Ali, Unni Mukundan, Anoop Menon and Isha Talwar are in leading roles of I Love Me. It will be also a break to actrees Isha Talwar, who played the lead female role in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Thattathi Marayathu. I Love Me is produced by Vyshakha Rajan and will be released on 21st December along with Karmayodha, Bavuttiyude Namathil and Da Thadiya.
