Mohanlal and Mammooty are joining again after a long break. Arakallan Mukalkallan produced by Mammootty's production company Playhouse and directed by UdayKrishna - Sibi K Thomas team is going to be released by the end of December 2011. There are also rumers that Dileep will be also playing a major role in Arakallan Mukalkallan. Mohanlal is expected to join the Arakallan Mukalkallan team after the shooting of Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nayarum directed by Priyadarshan.
The story of Arakalllan Mukalkallan is about two thieves one is a high tech one and the other an ordinary one. Mammotty will be doing the roll of high tech thief and Mohanlal will be the other one.
