Mohanlal's upcoming action movie directed by Major Ravi is going to be released on December 21 in more than 450 centres. In Karmayodha, Mohanlal is appearing as Madhava Menon, an encounter specialist who investigates on human trafficking. The movie also highlights the bonding of families in a joint family and the problems caused due to misuse of technologies like mobile phone.
Biju Menon, Rajeev Pillai, Mukesh, Aishwarya Devan and Murali Sharma are in the supporting roles along with Mohanlal. Haneef Mohammed is the producer of Karmayodha. The background score is done by Jeffrey Jonathan and music is composed by MG Sreekumar. This is the first movie of Mohanlal - Major Ravi team without a military background story. There earlier movies Keerthi Chakra, Kurukshetra and Kandahar were all based on military operations.
The worldwide release of Karmayodha is on December 21st 2012.
